The pipeline pumps 500,000 barrels of crude oil and they expoloded from the bomb underneath. Thats crazy, its going to take a lot of time and years to get the company up and running again.

Italy plans to drastically change their government due to problems in the past. One of the new things that would be possible if this is passed is that citizens will be able to sue judges if they do not take the appropriate measures to justice.

My current event is called Hundreds dead after massive quake slams Japan. An earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9, which is the biggest earthquake ever in Japan history, has struck Japan which then unleashed a 23 foot tsunami. Japan is now declaring a nuclear emergency. Police say that they found 200 to 300 bodies dead on the coast of the city of Sendai. The government is wanting people to evacuate the city of Onahama because the plant system was unable to cool.
This is tragic on what has happened to Japan. It is weird that we just got done talking about Japan in Chapter 22. I would suggest people to evacuate also because of the amount of people who have died.

China is keeping away any information on what their government is doing and I think that they are up to something big. We do know that they are in search of a grand strategy but we don't know what it is. They have done remarkably well in military power and control the past 3 decades.

The most powerful earthquake in 100 years hit Japan on Friday. It killed hundreds of people while forcing the evacuation of 60,000-70,000. Houses, cars, highways and boats were torn apart and ripped way. It started fires in atleast 80 different locations. More than 30 aftershocks followed after the initial quake.
With all the damage to Japan's cities as well as its' farmland, it's bound to be tough on their economy

If an earthquake that massive like that hit that area, i would not continue to build on that location. The death count was over 1,300 so why build on an area of such high risk?

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/03/11/massive-7-magnitude-earthquake-strikes-japan/

This is about the 8.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred 80 miles east of the coast of Japan. In Japan, they expirienced 33 foot waves which started fires, swept away people, cars, and ships, and caused a massive amount of damage and deaths. Waves have also hit Hawaii, Alaska, and California as of earlier this morning. I beleive Japan is going to need our help, and we should give it to remain a strong ally with them. This is an unfortunate natural disaster that will be along the likes of the Sumatra earthquake over Christmas in 2005. We all need to pray for the Japanese, inhabitants of every Pacific island, and even everyone on the west coast of North and South America. This quake will be disasterous in more places than just Japan.

Hundreds dead after massive quake slams Japan
TOKYO — A magnitude 8.9 earthquake — the biggest in modern Japanese history — slammed the island nation's eastern coast Friday, unleashing a 23-foot tsunami that swept boats, cars, buildings and tons of debris miles inland and prompting a "nuclear emergency."
With 200-300 bodies already found on the northeast coast, this is catostrophic. Costal guards are also searching for a ship carrying 80 people. THe earthquake caused a tsunami that reached Hawaii and states on the pacific coast even. I hope that Japan can recieve help and bounce back from this soon and build newer and bigger barriers for the future.

The earthquake in Japan has an expected death toll of over 10,000 people. "This is Japan's most severe crisis since the war ended 65 years ago," Kan told reporters, "The earthquake, tsunami and the nuclear incident have been the biggest crisis Japan has encountered in the 65 years since the end of World War Two"
What has happened in Japan is a horrible tragedy. We all need to send our thoughts and prayers out to the people who have lost everything, their family, friends, homes, everything they have. We need to help them overcome this crisis.

The earthquake and tsunami in Japan has moved the island closer to the U.S. The 9.0 magnitude quake was caused when the Pacific tectonic plate dove under the North American plate, which shifted Eastern Japan towards North America by about 13 feet. The earth's mass shifted towards the center, spurring the planet to spin a bit faster.
